OpenAI will start watermarking ChatGPT's text in the EU to comply with the AI Act

To comply with the EU AI Act, OpenAI will begin embedding invisible watermarks into text generated by ChatGPT and Codex in the EU. The company cautions that editing the generated text can make the hidden marks harder to detect, limiting their reliability.
