xAI launches Team Bots in public beta: shared Grok agents with memory and Slack
thione · x · 2026-10-06
xAI launched Team Bots in public beta: Grok agents shared across a team, built around a shared role or workflow. Each bot combines four elements — context (files, instructions, skills), plugins (Salesforce, Notion, GitHub), credentials (secure third-party API access), and memories that improve the bot over time, with each user's conversations and memories kept private.
- Team Bots get their own Slack handle, so whole teams can collaborate in-channel.
- xAI internally uses them for daily sales briefings, engineering coordination, and cross-company data questions.
- Also in the post: Microsoft launched MAI-Transcribe-2-Streaming and two MAI-Voice models, expanding its real-time speech stack for conversational agents.
