Angaisb_ · x · 2026-10-06
OpenAI has introduced textGrain, a watermark for AI-generated text, rolled out for users in the EU.
According to the poster (who made an explainer video using Opus 5.5), the watermark does not degrade response quality. This marks a concrete deployment of text provenance tech, applying only to EU users as a way to identify AI-generated content.
