Eon Launches Era: Simulated Whole Companies on MCP to Test Your AI Agents
rohanpaul_ai · x · 2026-10-06
- Eon (exabyte-scale enterprise cloud backup company) launched Era, a free tool that generates complete simulated companies for developing and benchmarking agents.
- A company, not a dataset: the same employees, customers and deals persist across Salesforce, Slack, Jira, Zendesk, SharePoint, Google Drive and more; data follows real-world distributions (deal sizes, headcount), with deliberate, capped, manifest-listed junk rows.
- Every system is a running instance served over MCP servers and vendor-native REST APIs; per-system CI images are on Docker Hub and can be composed into a full estate. Point your existing agents at it to test.
- Caveat: all data is synthetic — no substitute for a staging system with real data.
