Mistral detailed the new smart approve mode in its Vibe terminal coding agent: previously users had to approve every command or disable approvals entirely. Now Vibe pre-checks each command — routine ones run on their own, while risky operations (like a force-push to main) pause with an explanation and wait for confirmation.
