Amp ships Puck, a built-in assistant that spawns and coordinates your coding agents
willcb · x · 2026-10-06
Amp launched Puck, a built-in assistant described as a home base for launching and coordinating other agents. Opened from anywhere on ampcode.com, Puck can spawn agents from screenshots to fix bugs, investigate CI failures, retrieve past threads, archive them, scaffold a 2026 Rust toolchain, and fan out agents to rerun every script in ./scripts then compile feedback. The team calls it an experiment whose uses have already exceeded expectations; willcb confirmed it ships stock.
