Typing "claude" instead of "cloud" is so common people are now squatting on it
wunderwuzzi23 · x · 2026-10-06
Security researcher wunderwuzzi notes he keeps accidentally typing "claude" when he means "cloud" — e.g. "claudeflare" — and points out some people are already taking advantage of the typo, apparently via lookalike domains to catch the misdirected traffic.
A small but telling meme: the word Claude now appears often enough in developers' daily workflows to rewire typing muscle memory.
