Every agentic engineering hack I know, October edition: the attack of the personal agents
mvanhorn · x · 2026-10-06
mvanhorn publishes his third annual collection of agentic engineering hacks, arguing the biggest shift since June is the rise of personal agents. The article itself was written by an agent pipeline: Claude Code drafted 12 interview questions, Agent Tincan had fo call his cell for five interviews, then Claude Code wrote the piece.
Highlights:
- Claude Code (Opus 5.5 in cmux) remains the brain, orchestrating other agents so he never opens five CLIs.
- Every idea starts with /ce-plan then /ce-work (Compound Engineering by Every).
- He still skips permissions and shares his real settings., plus a one-liner from steipete letting computer use type into browsers and terminals, with Peekaboo.
- Dispatch work to Codex, Grok, and Cursor without opening them.
