Nolla Health becomes first in US to win regulatory approval for AI to issue prescriptions

Nolla Health says it has become the first organization in the US (and possibly the world) to receive regulatory approval for an AI to issue initial prescriptions — making it the first true end-to-end "AI doctor."
Using acne care as an example, the AI handles intake and assessment, issues a prescription when appropriate, then tracks progress and loops in a human doctor if needed. Observers noted the milestone arrived sooner than expected.
