Why Anthropic may skip image models: code-generated images instead of pixels
Kyrannio · x · 2026-10-06
davelee argues Anthropic's lack of an image generation model may be intentional: future models won't guess pixels but write the code that draws — SVG for graphics, HTML for layouts, Python for charts, 3D engines for realistic scenes. Code-made images are precise, editable, and always render text correctly. On photorealism objections, he notes movies and games already create realistic imagery entirely from code. Kyrannio agrees, predicting models will eventually generate all assets and 'film' scenes in Blender.
