Claude Cowork drops local-only option: all new tasks move to Anthropic's cloud

Anthropic is removing the "Only on your computer" option for Claude Cowork. From October 6, new tasks for Pro/Max users run in the cloud, with sessions, transcripts and outputs stored with your Claude account on Anthropic's servers; locally started tasks remain local. Some users are raising privacy concerns.
