PaperFold: open-source arXiv reader with five-layer semantic zoom
Lopsided_Scarcity979 · reddit · 2026-10-05
A developer open-sourced PaperFold, a reader that turns arXiv papers into 5 zoomable layers — from a one-screen section map down to verbatim text. You pinch or press 1–5 to zoom between layers without losing your reading position. A web demo with 8 CC-licensed papers is live, and the code is Apache 2.0 on GitHub.
