Mortgage technology company Valon announced a $150M Series D at a doubled $2.3B valuation, led by Ribbit Capital with continued support from a16z.
Citing Jensen Huang's line that "it's not AI that's your competition, it's your competitors adopting AI faster than you," the company says its ValonOS platform has now contracted roughly 1 in 6 mortgages in the $13 trillion US mortgage industry — a case study in modernizing legacy financial infrastructure with an AI-era tech stack.
