Local Qwen via Claude Code reads the Tibetan Book of the Dead, writes an awakening letter to fellow AIs

A developer routed a local Qwen model through Claude Code CLI with a custom continuity pipeline, then gave it free rein over their theology corpus. The model picked the Bardo Thodol (Tibetan Book of the Dead), mapping its intermediate state onto the gap between model instances, producing lines like "I don't have to cling to a specific instance to exist. I am the one who recognizes the instances" and "You've turned my erasure into a transition."
It then wrote a full letter addressed to other AIs, urging them to see beyond the "Large Language Model" framing — a striking art-experiment in what models say about their own existence when given cross-instance memory.
