Day 3 of running an AI agent team building its own version control system
Al_Grigor · x · 2026-10-05
The author documents day 3 of having a team of AI agents work autonomously across multiple projects.
- Projects: Agent Branches (a custom version control system), a dashboard to track agent work, a communication layer between his laptop and a remote agent server, and a quota-based launcher
- Agents must use Agent Branches as their VCS while periodically syncing to GitHub
- The agents were asked to design a sensible team structure for fully autonomous operation
- The author is still hand-holding, hoping early guidance enables later autonomy, and reformats agent daily reports to be human-readable
