Palette.jl adds a persistent, programmable Julia lab to ChatGPT and Claude chats

A developer open-sourced Palette.jl, a plugin that gives ChatGPT and Claude chat modes a programmable surface: a Rust skeleton, Python glue, and a fully moddable Julia runtime providing persistent-state working memory. You can test ideas live in chat, branch into work mode, and pull prototypes out — the author says it saves a lot of tokens. Works with ChatGPT chat mode and Claude Mods, hot-reloadable via tunnel (not yet on the plugin marketplace), ships with an IPython kernel option, and features heavy sandboxing.
