Stack Internal hits GA: free workspaces bring verified knowledge to enterprise AI agents
pchandrasekar · x · 2026-10-05
Stack Overflow announced general availability of Stack Internal, a "trusted knowledge layer for AI."
- Free access: anyone can create a free Starter workspace at stackinternal.com; organizations can ingest knowledge from their own systems with governance controls.
- Core mechanism: built on the expert curation engine Stack Overflow has scaled for nearly two decades, delivering context-aware, expert-vetted, traceable "decision-grade" knowledge.
- Agent integration: since July, customers could access community knowledge via Chat, API, and MCP — plugging trusted knowledge into the AI agents teams already use.
- Positioning: not content storage/retrieval, but a living organizational memory that keeps improving for the next person, team, or agent.
