One SpaceX Starmind Satellite to Out-Power the Entire ISS With Over 250 kW
XFreeze · x · 2026-10-05
A single SpaceX Starmind AI1 orbital-compute satellite is being designed to generate more than 250 kW of solar power, versus roughly 215 kW for the entire International Space Station — about 20% more from one satellite.
The ISS took about 13 years and dozens of multinational launches to assemble. Starmind satellites are designed to launch on Starship, whose massive payload capacity can deploy multiple such orbital-compute platforms in a single flight.
