ML Conference AC warns: papers that are 'incomprehensible' will be desk rejected

An ML conference Area Chair issued a PSA: ACs have now been granted the power to desk reject papers for being incomprehensible, and he says they will use it. Addressing authors submitting AI-generated papers, he urges them to make sure their papers are actually human parsable — a sign that reviewer-side crackdowns on AI slop submissions are becoming an enforced mechanism.
