X is rolling out free credit incentives for new pay-per-use API accounts, totaling up to $70:
- $20 for saving an eligible credit or debit card
- A one-time match of your first auto-recharge, up to $50
- Both are one-time per account, applied automatically with no code or form, and appear in the Developer Console within about a minute
- Free credits are spent before purchased credits and expire 3 months after being granted
- Prepaid cards don't qualify for the $20; incentives are still rolling out
