xAI launches Grok Bot: AI teammates that log into your tools and deliver finished work
aitrendz_xyz · x · 2026-10-05
- xAI officially launched Grok Bot, pitched as "AI teammates": you assign tasks like you would to a colleague, and Bots sign in to your apps and websites, use them like you do, and come back with finished work.
- Key capabilities:
- Multiple Bots running in parallel with distinct roles (sales outbound, talent scouting, paid media, expense management, bug reproduction, chief of staff, etc.), passing work between each other in one thread;
- Teach-a-task mode: demonstrate a workflow once and the Bot saves it as a routine, then runs it autonomously;
- Accumulating memory: Bots keep context and learn from each other, e.g. remembering a client only signs annual contracts and who approves.
- Available for macOS with enterprise sales; demos include taking over a Zendesk support queue and automated weekly reporting.
