WIP: using Claude to reconstruct structured Blender models from photos, beyond 3DGS
jwt0625 · x · 2026-10-05
Inspired by the Blender meme video, the author proposes having Claude reverse-engineer a structured Blender model from many photos of an object, seeding with COLMAP and 3DGS data — aiming for something less generic than 3DGS (which already beats NeRF on genericness). Includes WIP screenshots of Claude backing out modeling details; still experimental.
