AWS launches Well-Architected Agent that scans 65+ services and ranks risks by your business goals
DigitalColmer · x · 2026-10-05
AWS has released a new Well-Architected Agent aimed at risk reviews of production workloads.
- It reads utilization, resource configs, and application topology across 65+ AWS services
- Recommendations target cost, security, performance, and resilience, prioritized by the business goals you declare plus impact and effort — not a generic checklist
- The author stresses it doesn't replace the Well-Architected Tool: you still run the Tool yourself with your own lenses early in architecture design, while the Agent reads the actual account and ranks fixes against your real solution
- It offers three review depths
