Scoble republished his Feb 2008 blog recounting the night: after dinner with Tesla chairman Elon Musk, whose first production Roadster had just arrived, he rode shotgun in a Santa Monica street race against Jason Calacanis' Corvette — the Tesla won decisively. He live-streamed the ride via Qik from a Nokia N95, including a 25-minute interview with Musk, while Calacanis broadcast from the losing Vette.
