FAIRS Japan 2026 (Future of Artificial Intelligence for Science in Japan) was held October 5–9, 2026 at Nagoya University's Kobayashi-Maskawa Institute, aiming to define Japan's AI/ML research priorities in science for the next five years. The first three days covered domain-specific challenges in astrophysics, cosmology, neutrino, collider, and accelerator physics; the final two days focused on cross-disciplinary methods. The speaker gave an invited talk covering ARiSE AI4MP and learning physics.
