X rebuilds real-time reply moderation guide around Grok, dropping Perspective API
tetsuoai · x · 2026-10-05
X has rewritten its real-time reply moderation guide for developers, rebuilding it entirely on Grok:
- Ingestion: replies arrive via the X Activity API post.reply.create event
- Classification: each reply is classified by Grok through the xAI API using structured outputs
- Enforcement: high-confidence violations are hidden via the Hide Replies endpoint
The new guide replaces the previous version built on the deprecated Perspective API and Account Activity API, and ships with complete Python and Node.js webhook examples plus guidance on writing your own moderation policy.
