Career advice: stop polishing posts, split one weekend project into ten
brandon_galang · x · 2026-10-05
Advice for people transitioning into applied AI who can't sustain "building in public": treat posts as incidental output of doing the work, not manicured products. Most posts won't go viral and audiences forget them instantly, so lower the bar. One weekend project yields 10 posts — the idea, scoping with an agent, first failures, fixes, lessons. The author spent 18 months posting just enough to not look like a bot and got plenty of looks. Post enough to generate signal; don't burn out on perfectionism.
