Japan Times Covers Rentosertib: AI-Discovered Lung Drug Reverses Aging Markers
Dr_Singularity · x · 2026-10-05
This post supplements the earlier rentosertib thread with a Japan Times/Bloomberg report: Insilico Medicine's AI-developed lung drug rentosertib reduced biological age across all six aging clocks in a midstage study, while the placebo group saw little change. Results were published in Nature Biotechnology.
CEO Alex Zhavoronkov notes that lower biological age predicts later death, while cautioning the findings remain early-stage. Same event as the main post; see that entry for details.
