Claude Code directs a 3-minute talking-dog short film end-to-end with 22 scenes

A developer had Claude Code almost single-handedly create "DOGNAPPED", a 3-minute talking-dog comedy, inside their ComfyUI setup using their open-source VRGDG Video Builder custom nodes.
Claude wrote the original story, invented a new character, generated all location and character references, penned a 22-scene screenplay with shot-by-shot directions, rendered every scene with MiniMax H3 (video, voices, SFX), composed the score with MiniMax Music 3, and edited the film (4.5 hours of rendering). Its QA loop transcribed every line against the script, checked voice pitch, reviewed frames and cuts, and ran frame-accurate A/V sync checks — then re-shot scenes where puppies babbled or dogs stared at the camera. The human contributed the brief, dog photos, and the tooling. The Claude skill and custom nodes are shared publicly.
