Free Chrome Extension Rips Every Image, SVG and Color Palette Off Webpages for AI Workflows
JShug07 · reddit · 2026-10-05
Reddit user JShug07 released Pikspec, a free Chrome extension that extracts every image on a page (including lazy-loaded and high-res versions), plus SVGs, icons, videos, and exact color palettes grouped into background/text/accent, with bulk preview-and-download.
The author uses it in his image-generation workflow for three things:
- Collecting reference images for projects and moodboards
- Pulling real site color schemes to nail colors in prompts or img2img
- Building small datasets from pages he owns or has rights to, without saving files one by one
It's not a mass crawler and only works on the page you're viewing; for tens of thousands of images a Python scraper is still the way. He also reminds users to only grab images they're allowed to use, especially for training.
