Broadcom's ($AVGO) AI XPV platform is said to be raising up to $60 billion to fund chip purchases for Anthropic.
The financing reportedly splits into a $42 billion Class A senior-secured tranche and an $18 billion Class B junior tranche. If confirmed, it would mark another major instance of compute procurement being financed at scale for a frontier AI lab (unconfirmed report).
