Read-only MCP server unifies GA4, Search Console, Merchant Center and GTM in one
JollyPassenger9241 · reddit · 2026-10-05
A solo shop owner selling 3D-printed tabletop terrain built google-ecommerce-mcp, an open-source read-only MCP server covering GA4, Search Console, Merchant Center and GTM with 12 tools. It enforces read-only via tests, stores OAuth tokens in the OS keyring, runs stdio-only, ships on PyPI and the official MCP Registry, and auto-writes Claude Desktop config. Caveat: Google lacks read-only scopes for the Merchant and Indexing APIs, so tokens carry more permission than used.
