US AI-Linked Jobs Surpass 750K Since 2023, With ~$180K Median Salary

LinkedIn estimates show AI-related roles have added more than 750,000 new US jobs since 2023. Data annotators led with +282,000 positions, followed by data center jobs (+117,000) and AI engineers (+105,000) — together about 504,000 new roles.
AI-related positions carry a median salary of roughly $180,000 on LinkedIn, more than double the $80,000 median across all jobs. The ongoing data center buildout is a key driver of this labor demand, reshaping the US job market.
