Jev ships a PowerShell module for typed natural-language decisions in scripts
dfinke · x · 2026-10-04
dfinke open-sourced Jev, a PowerShell module that connects PowerShell to TypeSafe AI's Jev model, letting scripts make typed decisions: yes/no, choice, and score questions, returning consistent structured decisions through a PowerShell-friendly interface.
Example: set TYPESAFEAPIKEY, define a question with New-JevYesNoQuestion including true/false criteria (e.g. "should the on-call engineer be paged now?"), pipe Pester results into Jev and ask in plain English — it selects tests by the meaning of their names.
