Agents now 48% of Wrangler usage as Cloudflare launches agent-first CLI 'cf'
msharmas · x · 2026-10-04
Cloudflare launched 'cf', a new CLI covering its entire API, built for agents — part of eight major observability updates unifying logs, traces, analytics, alerts and telemetry export with simpler pricing. Key data: agents accounted for a quarter of Wrangler usage in March 2026 and reached 48% last week; agents use nearly twice as many distinct commands daily as humans. cf features bespoke command search, JSON-first condensed output for context savings, a new cloudflare.config.ts typed config, and Vite as default dev server. Open beta: npm i -g cf.
