Dot battle: driving Blender, Python and AE with Opus 5.5 to stylize AI fight video
sull · x · 2026-10-04
Japanese creator @aicreataro shares a "Dot battle" experiment using Claude Opus 5.5 to operate Blender, Python and After Effects, converting Seedance 2.0-generated fight footage into a dot/pixel art style. The AI analyzes character contours and depth, swaps footage for dots, changes dot size, color and background every half-beat, and syncs dots to impacts—squashing, scattering toward camera, freezing time with orbital moves. Key lessons: dots too large lose readability, too small lose coolness; half-beat switching plus impact squashing dramatically raised intensity; constant speed gets monotonous—paused moments make fast parts pop; exploding dots on every hit makes characters unreadable—keep explosions weak and short.
