Matt Pocock ships skills v1.3 with /retro to mine old transcripts for improvements
mattpocockuk · x · 2026-10-04
Matt Pocock has released v1.3 of his popular Claude Code skills project (now v1.3.1), with docs, video, and an announcement post due Monday.
Key changes:
- /retro ships: it combs through your past session transcripts to surface concrete improvement takeaways, after heavy community demand.
- implement-spec graduates into the Engineering bucket: it now ships in the Claude Code plugin, gets a docs page, and is routed by ask-matt as the parallel alternative to per-ticket implement.
- implement-spec implements a whole spec in one run: reads tickets as a task graph, runs implementer subagents in their own worktrees across the ready frontier, and lands everything on one integration branch, closing with code-review.
- The goal is now the integration branch rather than a PR; a draft PR opens only if the tracker closes work through PRs or you ask. It points at the configured issue tracker instead of silently defaulting to gh.
