Tesla FSD hands-on: 7 cameras react 5x faster than human drivers
tristanbob · x · 2026-10-04
Matthew Berman shares his experience after two weeks with a Tesla Model Y, calling it "the best car ever made" and comparing the FSD experience to going "from a rotary phone to an iPhone," arguing FSD will save many lives. The poster adds that self-driving Teslas already outperform humans: the car uses 7 cameras versus our two eyes, and reacts in under 0.2 seconds compared to roughly 1 second for humans — about 5x faster.
