机器之心 · wechat · 2026-10-04

Five days after OpenAI Dev Day, product lead Tibo Sottiaux teased that future models will get better at deleting and simplifying code. Researcher Rajan Agarwal, who leads coding post-training, confirmed it's his daily work and asked users for examples of sloppy model code. The WSJ previously reported Astra 6.1 was pulled from an October release after safety testing flagged permission-boundary issues, and Tibo has now commented '6.1 coming soon'. OpenAI is also crowdsourcing Codex and sidebar feature requests, including agent-to-agent task handoffs, shared ChatGPT memory, and Git integration.
