Vjeux opens AI-generated PR adding onWorkerError hook to fix worker error noise in pierre
Vjeux · x · 2026-10-04
Vjeux (ex-Meta engineering director, React core team) opened an AI-generated PR against the open-source pierre library (6.2k stars), adding an onWorkerError hook for worker pool error handling. The PR fixes a case where a worker error was only met with console.error: the event wasn't cancelled, the browser re-reported the uncaught error, and error-reporting apps would see three or four redundant alerts from a single worker failure. It also covers settled requests and silent cancellations.
