Agents could make online competition 10x worse: you're now competing with everyone's agent
signulll · x · 2026-10-04
signulll argues the internet is already 100x more competitive than real life because it collapsed constraints like geography, time, and liquidity — you compete with the whole planet for attention, jobs, customers, and status. Adding agents raises this another order of magnitude: agents require no human effort, so for high-demand, low-supply things you may now be competing with someone else's agent as well.
