GitHub Copilot app adds side-by-side diff, terminal and browser panels for reviewing agent code
unixterminal · x · 2026-10-04
GitHub's blog walks through how the Copilot app now lets you complete the AI coding review loop without leaving the app. When an agent changes your code, three built-in panels sit side by side: a diff panel highlighting additions and deletions where you accept, comment, or request changes; a terminal panel for running project commands manually or via configured scripts (e.g., launching a dev server); and a browser panel for previewing web apps. The goal is to collapse the editor/terminal/browser tab-hopping that reviewing agent-generated code usually requires, with the human keeping final say over every change.
