Codex beats Claude Code at computer use and brevity, says AI researcher

Responding to Boris Cherny's question, AI researcher Yuchen Li says he hasn't used Claude Code Desktop in days and finds Codex better in two ways: it handles computer use well enough to operate his machine for reimbursements, and it works more easily with open-source models while being less verbose.
