Andrew Carr built a fun hardware hack: Claude wired into a microwave where the only button is "cook". The model gets a scale, camera, and thermometers, reasons about what's being cooked, optimal temperature and time, then dings when done.
"Reasoning in the number one machine" — essentially a multimodal agent demo of a sense-decide-act loop on a home appliance.
