A Reddit user compared Seedance 2.5 videos with locally generated Minimax H3 output and found a stark quality gap: H3 is far beyond earlier local models, but micro details (like glasses and bottles in restaurant scenes) look pixelated and shimmery, with pixels drifting and shifting color every few frames on static shots.
The API version has had H3-Regenerate-2K since day one, but the promised local 2K update hasn't shipped, prompting the user to plead with MiniMax to release it.
