Early user says OpenAI's dot device replaced ChatGPT and Codex in daily workflow

Replying to someone asking what a "dot" can actually do, an early user says he went from skeptic to heavy dependance. His dot (named "dash") reads every incoming email, calendar appointment, and Codex/ChatGPT threads, spots what he's overlooked, and suggests next steps — with an interaction model he calls hard to believe.
He now rarely opens ChatGPT or Codex directly, just asks dash to do things, and expects the feature to reach the Plus tier soon. A firsthand account of how OpenAI's consumer AI hardware fits into daily workflows.
