Keeping locations consistent in MiniMax H3: a 20-photo grid reference trick
PATATAJEC · reddit · 2026-10-04
A user shares a practical trick for keeping locations consistent across MiniMax H3 generations:
- Photograph your real location 20 times, with each photo overlapping a corner of the previous one so the space connects
- Stitch all 20 into a single 2048×2048 grid image as a RefMod — though the author notes a plain reference image may work just as well
- Add references for subjects (a fly, a cat) plus start/end frames; the result faithfully reproduces his actual room with everything in place
The full workflow and reference images are shared via Google Drive — a cheap, replicable approach to scene consistency.
