ChatGPT Wallet spotted same day World App rebrands to World Money

- A "Coming soon" Wallet option appeared in ChatGPT's settings the same day World App (co-founded by Sam Altman) finished rebranding as World Money; OpenAI hasn't linked the two, but the timing is suspicious.
- TestingCatalog speculates the wallet pairs with OpenAI's always-on "Dots" agents — cloud computers with browsers connected to thousands of apps — whose launch post never explained how an agent pays for anything.
- By contrast, Meta's Muse agent can browse, fill forms and complete purchases before stopping for approval, yet Amazon has already blocked Muse from buying on Amazon.com and plans to block Google and OpenAI agents too. How platforms handle agent payments is becoming the battleground.
