Claude Science creator leaves Anthropic to join OpenEvidence for AI in medicine

AlecTPhD announced he has joined OpenEvidence after creating Claude Science at Anthropic — a product designed so scientists' curiosity, not their capacity to execute, sets the limit on discovery, offloading early-stage research work.
At OpenEvidence he aims to bring the same leverage to doctors at the point of care; the company already reaches the majority of patients in America.
