Figure AI gave its F.02 humanoid fleet a dramatic send-off: at a foundry in Imatra, Finland, the robots were trained to autonomously leap into molten steel — an idea Arnold Schwarzenegger suggested on X.
The company says it had to destroy the robots to protect its IP after foundries in the US and Mexico refused machines containing lithium-ion batteries, and the recovered metal is being turned into commemorative artifacts.
